Default Ritualist AoE adjacent spike

Ok - well the main idea here is a huge spike for adjacent foes.
The build could be used for AB, but also at other places with some changes.
Here's how I thought it would look:

Rt/E

channeling: 12+1+3
earth: 12

[skill]Grasping Was Kuurong[/skill] [skill]Aftershock[/skill] [skill]Cruel Was Daoshen[/skill] [skill]Ancestors' Rage[/skill] [skill]Nightmare Weapon[/skill] [skill]Glyph of Lesser Energy[/skill] [skill]obsidian flame[/skill]

last one is optional. (ress, stoneflesh aura, and so on...)
Note - Grasping Was Kuurong has a casting time of 1 sec & recharge of 20 sec.

the spike would be like this:
- Cast GWK right away - so it can recharge just in time for a future use (you can hold it for a long duration),
- cast the glyph before running up to the target/targets,
- cast Cruel Was Daoshen (you will automaticly drop GWK ashes - which has already recharged),
- cast GWK again (you automaticly drop Cruel Was Daoshen),
- drop the GWK ashes then cast aftershock & Ancestors' Rage.
Casters should be dead by now, just finish off the higher armor classes with nightmare weapon or obsidian flame
Energy is no problem. (since you use the glyph for the 2 item spell)
The 8th skill could be used for extra armor.
You can also replace obsidian flame with [skill]Crystal Wave[/skill] or [skill]Grasping Earth[/skill]

So - what do you think?

Yea, nice build man, I have always been looking for new ways to make the rit offensive(tired of defense). Honestly, I think that this build looks good, it has a lack of defense unless u replace few skills, but this build could deliver some serious damage.

I like this, Perhaps instead of flame you use grasping earth like you said. Also you can use the stone striker combo for armor.

However, I do see a problem with enemies retreating.
79 -> 122 (they will probably run after this, i would think)
But, i havent tested it.

I wounder how would a group of Rt do in TA or maybe HA with that build

If you hit them with the first GWK they get knocked down, so they cant run from VwD, and right after that you're dropping another GWK, so essentially if you hit them with the first Grasping they dont have much of a chance to run away, and with the option to toss grasping earth in there, it just seals the deal.

So I just tried it with

It doesnt deal enough damage unfortunately, I cant kill a group of Minotaurs and I cant even think about surviving without [skill]Stoneflesh Aura[/skill]

Perhaps with Splinter Weapon, There would be enough damage.. but then.. why wouldnt one just use the original Channeling UW spiker with Glads Defense.

how about add spirit rift before dropping the ashes for extra spike?
